My Experience with Science and Memory
In July, 2016, I traveled to the small town of Cordova, AK with a handful of other, curious students to embark on a journey known as Science & Memory. Within this program, selected students are empowered to make a difference in our quickly declining environmental structure. We are not protestors, reporters or general journalists. We are creatives, empowering the believers and skeptics, the understanding, the hopefuls and the optimists to delve deeper into the devastating affects of climate change on our environment through our storytelling.
Details of Cordova
I focused my photo diary on the specific details of Cordova, Alaska. The rustic town offered a lot of its long history through the simple details within pieces of the town, from a wooden bench to forbidden ship parts left on the shoreline.
